Pure Hockey Says: The CCM U 06 Ice Hockey skates are targeted to the same recreational/starting hockey player, but offer a couple of quality upgrades over the U 04 line. The most notable upgrade is in the Vectorwear quarter package, which will give your foot terrfic support. This skate also gets a general upgrade in out-of-the-box comfort, much like all the new 2011 CCM skates - they have really, really improved the comfort of their skates across the board and the U 06 is included in that upgrade. The tongue also gets an upgrade with a felt material and lace-bite protection. The liner is a small step up from the 04, with a heavy-duty microfiber, the ankle padding traditional foam and the deep heel support are the same as the 04. Remember that CCM skates generally fit 1 1/2 sizes down from your regular shoe size.
